Hello from Germany

Hello,
I have landed in Germany. My grandpa and grandma were explaining how big the Frankfurt airport is but it is quite a bit bigger than I even imagined. It is ENORMOUS. The plane ride was a little over 10 hours, it was LONG flight. I tried to sleep but I have never been able to sleep while I am traveling. I got into the airport and had to take a 10 minute bus ride just to get into the airport. After I arrived inside the airport I had to go through a Passport Checkpoint. I was then explained that now I have to go through security again. I arrive at security and unload my laptop, take my jacket off, and put my backpack on the security ramp. I left my shoes on because you are supposed to leave them on here. I forgot that my new work shoes have metal shoestring loops. I got called aside and got frisked for the first time which was exciting and scary. I then made my way to my gate which is on the other side of the airport, it made for a great 45 minute workout. Hahahahaha, I am having so much fun. Now I just have to wait around and hope the flight goes quick from Frankfurt to Venice. I hope all of you who are reading this are doing well and getting a laugh out of this. I sure am. This is the last leg of the traveling to Venice. It will be interesting to see what will happen when I arrive in Venice. I will update as soon as I can.

Sitting in the airport

Hello,
It is 8:30 and I am sitting here in the Bellingham International Airport waiting to board sometime in the next 30 - 40 minutes. It is starting to sink in that I am actually heading to Italy. It is extremely thrilling, exciting, and scary all at the same time. I didn't get much sleep last night so I am kind of tired but the excitement outdoes the sleep deprivation. I am on my way. Thank you all so much for your support, help, prayers, and love. I will update when I get to Seattle.

Packing my bag and getting ready.

Hello Again,
I am getting ready to fly out on Sunday. I am finishing packing my bag and cleaning. I am heading to Trader Joe's here in a little while to pick up some snack items. I fly out of Bellingham on Sunday. I fly from Bellingham to Seattle, Seattle to Frankfort Germany, then Frankfort Germany to Venice Italy. It is about a 20 hour trip all together from when I leave to when I arrive. It still seems so unreal. I have attached a link to the website so you can see the ship I will be working on.
